i have 45 gallon tank with a single bulb marine glow 20w is this a good light for fish and bta

Absolutly NOT for a bta or anything photosynthetic for that matter. But fish yes... its fine.

I guess it would really depend on what you want to keep in it. It will cost you more in the long run, if you keep upgrading like i did. I wish i just bought my metal halides in the beginning. This was a fish only tank when i started. FL tubes and all. It`s only 48 gals. 250 watt mh`s. just click the pic to check it out. These are old pics, a little more full now.

I seen today a ho-t5 with 2 bulb 1x39w 10000k blue 1x39w 10000k white
will this light be better for the bta

no is is not enough a min would be tec 4 lamp

Yep min 4 bulb individually reflected HO T5 fixture. TEK, Aquatinics or Nova Pros... IMO.

save up and invest in a $400-600 lighting fixture. u will save money in the long run by not having inverts or corals die on u.
