Looks like it has just one reflector. As said above individual reflectors are best.
I would think of the two lights the T5 fixture would still be "better".

over a 10 gallon, i don't think it's going to matter much. what are your plans with this tank?
what 10 gallon are you speaking of? a standard(20 x 11 x 13 ), or a long(24 x 9 x 13 )?
i'd get the fixture that covered the entire tank without going over the sides.

Uhh, as in coral? Probably shrooms, zoas, rics, LPS, if I get the T5, maybe a clam? I've heard it can be done.. I'm gettin a standard, not a long I don't think, I don't have it yet and I didn't know it would go off the sides of the tank, so it looks like the 18" is the only way to get anyway.
