i am setting up my first tank. would i be better off with no or pc lights? i have found All-Glass strip lights in both styles.the twin tube NO is $85 and the twin PC 110W is $130.

if your looking to make it a reef at any point the pc's would be a better choice, if your just gonna go with fish the normal would be okay.

Greetings and Welcome to the SWF forum 
PC or VHO lighting as well as MH or MH +VHO combo for your reef lighting needs.
Even with NO lights you will need to watch the spectrum so that you do not wind up with nuicance algea.

i am in orange county, about 60 miles north of the city.
i think i will go with the PC. iwill be adding coral in the future, so i might as well be half way on the lights from the start. thanks all.
