im building a 360gal tank and it will b fowlr maybe some easy corals but my question is for lighting i was going to go to homedepot and get 4 of there 4' two bulb shop lights will these b ok they will b about a foot off the water?

for a fo tank yes but no corals and the look wouldn't be that good.
if you plan on any corals get atleast pc's or vho's and match it to the size of your tank.

i don't know how long or wide your tank is so i can't estimate or give an option on how much light would work. if you really want no worries and are going to do corals of any type then get metal halide lights.

ok the dimentions r 8'l 3't 2'w and heres what i was thinking to go with
2-ice cap 660 ballast
6 vho bulbs
thnk this will b two much?

MH would be too much. All the soft corals are low light, the only thing that REALLY needs MH are clams and the hard corals. Mushrooms, zoos and other softies dont need as much.
