I change mine.One hour is not going to upset the system.It didn't upset me.Actually if someone changed them twice a year without telling me,I probably wouldn't realize it.
I just set my timers forward or back(depending on the time of year). Haven't seen any adverse effects yet. Everything looked very good yesterday, so I don't think it's really that big a deal.

J/K...I changed my timers with the rest of my clocks...
I have not changed mine yet but I will. I don't think you have to acclimate them to a new shcedule. Fish and inverts aren't that bright as to know a significant difference.

SHOOT! No wonder my boss was giving me those dirty looks all morning!
It's bad enough you gotta lose an hour of sleep, but you shouldn't lose sleep over your light time. I use a digital timer with a Daylight Savings button. Just press and forget about it. It even has a back up for when the power goes out. Check your local hardware store.
