need to know what kind of light would be good for 20gal reeftank

That depends on what you want to keep and what kind of 20 you have You can never go wrong with PC's, plus it allows for a lot of options. Do you have this tank up and running at the moment?

yes its up n running i have 20lb of lr some ls the coral i plan on getting is greenstriped mushroom bullseyemushroom,starburstpolyp buttonpolyp toadstoolmushroom leather and may be some anemone

i think its a 20 high its an acrylictank measure 16Lx15w

you could get a 96w coralife
it's 20" long but the legs adjust or maybe a 175w MH pendant

what will be better fit for the corals

you wont need super intense light for softies just a good amount i say you'd be okay with the 96w prob. be a lot cheaper too

but it can't hurt to go with the MH incase you want to go with lps or sps corals .... or upgrade tanks (like everyone eventually does)
