Lights of America 9266

I purchased 4 of these fixtures and installed them about 6 inches above the glass tops of my tank. They put out awsome light & 6500K and complement well with the actinic bulbs I have. The problem is that they burn out really quick (2 to 3 weeks) I have been returning them to Home Depot and exchanging for new ones, but I am getting tired of it.
Has anyone used this model before? Any trouble with them?

I use these to grow Phyto. I drilled holes in the back for ventilation. Take the ballast out of the housing before drilling

I have checked to see if they get hot, but they don't. My tank doesn't have a hood, it's more of a 3' X 2' X 10' alcove area above my tank and there's plenty of ventilation. I don't have a digital camera, so I can't get any pics. The electronic ballasts seem to burn out on these 65W fixtures, because the bulbs are fine. I have sent an e-mail to LOA customer service, but no response so far.
