Lights on all the time?

I just started a new tank thats almst done cycling(i ope)
I m gona leave the lights on al the time 247 to suport coraline algie growth i also use a calcium bufer. Do u think itll work (or hurt it?)

no, you can leave your actinics on at all time but turn off your daylights at night. even algae has a day and a night time cycle. I would guess that cynobacteria would out grow your coraline if you did this.

Leaving the lights on for 24/7 could promote growth of nuisance algaes. The last thing you want in a nice display tank is mad hair algae or cyanobacteria growth.
