Lights over a tank

My power compacts that came with the tank say for use with a covered tank only. I was hoping to put egg crates over the top to allow air in and out but keep the fish in. Any suggestions on how to still be able to use these lights? Also the bulbs are 9320K. Quantity 4 at 55 watts each. I also have 2 65 watt 10000K and 2 65 watt actinic blue. It is a reef tank with a variety of all different corals. Do I need more actinic blue bulbs or is this a good light set up?

It depends if the ballast on your PC's are exposed or if it has a remote ballast. It its remote you can mount the PC's as close as about 3in from the water, just make sure you don't have water splash on the blubs.
