I was planning on getting the corallife lunar aqualight 48" for my 55 gal. tank. I want to keep corals & I have been told that w/this light I can keep soft corals & lps corals which is fine. I was wondering though before I buy this light does anyone have it & do they have any input? I have also looked at one called odessa & a jebo. Can anyone suggest one of these or another one that would be nice. I would like to have one that has the lunar lights in it also. I can get the corallife for 250.00 & that is the price range that I'm trying to stay in if that helps any. Cheaper is better of course so please let me know if you have any suggestions or know of a place where I can get this light cheaper. I have benn bidding on them on the famous site however the bids always seem to run up to the same price that I can get it for. Anyway thanks for any help you can give

I've got the Coralife you are talking about . . . 4x65w (2 actinic, 2 PC plus 4 lunar). I love it! I was amazed at the difference it had over a standard 40w flourescent (sp?). I too got mine for about $250, probably from the same online retailer. Don't forget to purchase the legs unless you plan to somehow mount it to a pre-existing hood.
One negative I've heard about the Jebo is that the actinic are not a true blue. The bulb is somehow painted blue and thus it doesn't give out the true blue light. Otherwise, I've heard it is a good system as well.

I saw one (jebo) on this site a little while ago when I did a search it looked really bad like it was melted or something. So i'm def. not getting that one. i'm bidding on a coarlife at the famous auction site now so far i'm winning but I think it still has a couple of days left on it. I'm really glad to hear you like yours though.

I am also another happy coralife 260w customer.
I have both the coralife and jebo.
The jebo cannot be compared to the quality of coralife.
The bulbs are so much better.

The odysea is the new and improved jebo they have "real" antincs legs "2 count them 2 fans" and instead of 55 watts they have 4 65 watt lights. I bought one I will tell you how they are. Also on the jebos something to do with the heat protecting thing is a little peice of film/plastic that most ppl get confused for wrap and remove. With the new ones they dont have that there actually "real" lights. Jebo is starting to ge on the ball now there making metal halide lights and T5 Lighting. There outprice any other lighting I have seen. I just wouldnt get the lights that are listed under Jebo since the antincs are not real and they just seem porly made.

Thanks you guys! I'm gonna stick w/the corallife. I just knew it was won of those to good to be true things w/those other lights. I'm still winning the one i'm bidding on at an auction. Hopefully I can win it at a deal!! If not then i'm just gonna probably go on and order it. By the way when you order it new does it come with all the lights? Which lights do I replace them with? The mag. I have doesn't say.

Well the old jebos cant be replaced with anything but 55 watt lights and as far as I have seen there kinda hard to find. The new ones can be replaced with any straitpin 65 watt light "alot easier to find" and they come with everything just plug it in and turn them on.
