i have a 55 gal tank with live rock and some corals ,im installing 3 vho lighting system what 3 110 watt bulbs are the best combo 1-daylight,1-50/50,1 antic or a diffrent combo .

I have a 4 bulb setup and I like the combo. I've got 2 actinics, 1 50/50, and 1 aquasun. Plus, it gives you a range of different light spectrums and Kelvin degrees.

1 blue middle 2 day light . 50/50 you do not need .have blue come on first go out last this will be a fine lighting sys for 55gl

Go with the 50/50s. They look good and are bright. I have 50/50's with an actinic. Too much blue for my taste.

I agree. If you are getting 3 bulbs, go with the full range and spectrum of lighting. You'll really like it. The 50/50 is a must IMO.

I'd at least run one URI actinic and one aquasun.
I'd buy
1 actinic
2 aquasuns
1 50/50
See how your corals respond to the different combo's ( if they respond differently at all ) then balance this with your own personal taste for the appearance of your tank.
