I would be most appreciated if anyone could post pictures of their corals, anemones, rock scapes, etc and list your lighting types. I need alittle help on identifing coral and anemones and the lighting required to keep them.

I have decided to begin a project for my final year in high school. It will be documented on the growth, development and interactions of coral, underwater plants, fish and the surrounding environment and ecosystem. I will be converting my 75gallon FO tank into a reef style land scape and will be raising coral frags, anemone and plants allong with the current residents and maybe some more. The undertaking itself will be difficult since the whole set up will need to be ripped apart, redrilled and cut, then reassembled. New filtration will be added as well as new lighting. Thats were the trouble begins. I have no clue when it comes to lighting.

heres my 55 gallon with 260 watts of PC, if you want any anemones you'll have to have metal halide lights so you really dont have much of a decision

Just added 80lbs LR from Marine Depot, came from Walt Smith. Decent stuff although I have found that there is some pretty crazy stuff comming from Hati.
I have 3-250 10k ushios and 4-96w PC atinicts. I am thinking about going to VHO atinicts as I have heard they make the corals look much better???? :notsure:
