Limestone or regular air stone

With saltwater are you supposed to use the limewood or regular air stones?
oops I put limestone in the headline its supposed to be limewood

*** -Sep To answer your question, limewood "airstones" are used in some kinds of protein skimmers....is this what you were asking about? Most SW tanks do not need an airstone like freshwater tanks do....the limewood stone is merely to create a fine foam to remove impurities in the skimmer.

No I am putting areation in the coolers that will have my coral in it when I move and I wanted to know if I can use a regular airstone or use the limewood ones

Sorry about that guppy, I got rid of the nonsense for you. You can use any airstone for moving coral. If you are buying them new then soak them in saltwater first.
