Lion attacked by shark

My bamboo shark just attacked my 10" v. lion and bit his right eye cleanly off. My question is: Do I try to heal or do I put him down? Very tough choice since i love lions ( whole reason i got into this hobby). any help is appreciated. He's in there with a tomato clown, blue face angel, foxface, and a ribbon eel. Shark is in my quarantine tank already. Tank is a 180g.

Never mind, he died within a couple of hours

sorry to hear such bad news. Was there any agression shown before this incident? Seems odd for a shark to want to attack a lion.

Just minor bumps during feedings, no biting. Last night though, shark kept attacking the lion till he cornered him against some rocks and didnt stop till i grabbed his tail with feeding tongs, by then it was too late though.

poor guy, that looks like a nice sized lion.
Lions get put in the aggressive catagory, but they are really quite docile to everything bu thier food.

Picked him up when he was about 4", was 9-10" when i took him out last night. Yeah, they're very docile.
