Lion Fish Q's

I want a violitan lion fish for my 75 and i was wondering if it needed live rock or if i could just put it in with some sand and fake decorations, if it does need live rock does the rock have to fill up most of the tank?

i would say as little live rock as possible but try and get some in just for some natural filtration. try not to clutter up the tank too much because in a 75 gallon a volitans gonna need all the room it can get

i would skip the volitan lionfish and go with another choice of lion. A volitan will get pretty big for your size tank.

get a Antennata Lionfish i love those
there as cool as volitans to me..
lions are my favorite fish

im still deciding on wat to do with my tank so i may get the attneta i got a 75 empoty in my basement so im still wondering wat to do with it...

the lion does not require LR if you plan on artificial plants thats fine too.it just requires a place to lounge around.mine likes to hang in front of whatever is in the tank

i would recommend a russels lion. probably the most active lion and very very nice looking. and they get pretty big but can fit good in your tank
