+1. At one time i decided to stock my whole 75 FOWLR tank with fish from ***** becuase of there low prices, but the fish are very low quality and ended up dying of several different diseases.
Good luck

I would not recommend ***** either. However lionfish are not as expensive as rumor has it SWF has dwarfs for $25.

Dwarfs are really cool fish. Just don't put them with anything that fits in their big mouth or it'll get eaten sooner or later. Also probably not a good idea to put it with any shrimp.

I wouldn't recommend buying any fish from *****, they are usually prone to diseases and so on, Dwarf Lions can be difficult to care for, esp. if you are getting one from *****, I would only give it a week at tops! Goto you local fish store and get one or even order one off of here, i ordered one of my lions off here. Good luck

***** will be a fine place to get a fish. the same rules apply here, as any other fish store. buy a healty specimen, and then quarantine to make sure there are no disease issues and no feeding issues. what type of dwarf lion are you looking at?

Research the kind of dwarf lion that you want and what other fish you may want to keep before buying one. $30 is about right for a dwarf lion. You are not missing a deal.

im not sure..........i didnt know there where different ones.....all there tag said was "DWARF LION FISH".........he was a real shy fellow too......step away from the tank and he would come out....get in front of it and he high tailed it behind a rock.....LOL
i was told by a friend that as long as it didnt fit into its mouth anything would be fine......but arent they carnivours? i know fresh water carni's will just about eat anything even if it dont fit into there mouth.......

most likely it's a fuzzy dwarf, Dendrochirus brachypterus. it will reach about 5-6". you would be suprised what a lion can fit in it's mouth. yes, they are carnivores, but they're not aggressive. if you want a fw comparison, think of an oscar(besides being fat, ugly, and worthless).

i went into the new ***** that opened near me and there fish are horrible. they have been open only a few days and most fish already have ich and are losing color and they put to many fish in one tank so im sure they are already stressed out. i would stick with a fish store if your looking to by anything.
im not an expert but thats just my 2 cents.
