hey gary you said you just got him around the 7th? did you qt him or put directly into the main tank?I got mine about that time also my big guy at least I didnt qt him but I added melafix to my main tank when i added him it seams to reduce the stress and also help heal any fungal problems he may have had when i baught him.I use this every time i acclimate a fish and never get any outbreaks of illness or ich.you might want to try this in your tank for a few days its all natural and wont effect inverts or LR or plants for that matter.like yours mine was way to large to place in a 10 gal qt .it seams to perk them all right up.just remove any carbon filters while using it.

I have had my lion for a week and a half now and I have gotten hime to eat Silversides off of a feeding stick. It takes a while for him to get interesed though, and he will only eat about 2 decent sized pieces every 3-4 days. He seems to be doing fine though. Be patient on the frozen food thing, it took a lot of wiggling the first few times, but each time I do it, the wiggling time gets shorter. Now, if I could just figure out how to get Krill on those feeding sticks. It just seems to disintigrate (sp?) pretty fast.

what i did to my stick i cut the tip of my acrylic stick tino 2 points with a razor knife it will then pierce the krill without tearing it apart

no i didnt qt him. i took about 3 and half hrs to put him in the tank. the only thing else in the tank is my sea goblin. he is only 5 inches long. i had to take my cocatoo wasp fish out because he got stressed out. i put him in with my tangs. they get along fine. i call my tangs the cow fish because they eat all the s
algea in the tank.lol thanks gary

do you have any pics of cocatoo wasp? dont think i have ever heard of that one

yes i do. he is only about 4 inches long. brown white and red. his dorsal fin runs all the way down his back. he is like a wee wobble he dont fall down. lol. if i can figure it out how to post a pic i will put it in here. thanks gary
