Lion Lust - HELP!!!

Hey Y'all! New to the forum and the hobby here - but not the obsession! I have FINALLY come into a situation condusive to starting a tank of my own...and I'm about ready to bust.

I want lionfish. BADLY. Like.... it's scary. 2 dwarf fuzzies in a FOWLR will do the tick for now ('till I can get a massive monster tank with a flock of volitans!!). What's a good size tank - I know 30g is the reccomended minimum for one - does it double to 60g for two? And what about urchins? I'd need quite a few for a proper cleanup crew - are they difficult to keep? I'd obviously need more than just urchins too - any tips or stocking suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!!
You all are so fabulous - I love geeks. :D

for two dwarf fuzzies i would recommend 55 gallons. they can probly fit in less but if you want the levels to stay stable i would give them as big of a tank as you can afford and fit. Also dont buy a huge tank but buy as big as you can and make sure you have enough money for the skimmer youre going to need. I hope you know how much money and effort you will need

Thanx 4 the help guys! I've got lots of time to plan and learn and ask questions - won't be moving 'till January, and that's when I can ge the process started. :joy:
Is it silly of me to shy away from keeping just one solitary Dwarf Lion? Despite all the hype about lions being solitary and all that, everyone I know with lions has at LEAST two, and I've read a gajillion posts on the site by people with multiples in their tanks. I'm not going to keep ANY other fish in the lion tank (there will be inverts aplenty tho), and I'd just feel SAD for the little guy if he was all by himself.

Anyone with happy single lions? Anyone with Lion Only tanks? Anyone with faaabulous pix of their faaaabulous fish (lions, that is!) ??? :cheer:

Well, I couldn't help you there. I have two lions in my tank, but one is a volitan, and the other is a fuzzy dwarf. They swim and eat together though, so it is really cool.
I think keeping one in a tank is fine, but I think two looks a lot cooler.
