I USUALLY FEED THEM KRILL OR DRIED SHRIMP ABOUT 4-5 TIMES A WEEK. I MAY HAVE TO TRY SOME SQUID. LFS HAS SOME BUT EXPENSIVE. THANKS.

No freeze dried anything and especially not krill.
rotate thru real live food.
Go to the grocery store and buy gulf shrimp w shell on, clams, squid, crabmeat, a white meat SW fish. Get homes, clean the stuff and chop it into small peices smear selcon on it and flatten it out in freezerpacks. Break off chunks when you feed 2-3 times a week and only til you see a little bulge in his belly.
Keeping these fish requires to to feed it well. sorry you think it costs so much, it cost me about $25month in fresh seafood. I find this well worth it to keep thee exotic fish

Ive been feeding my volitan live goldfish and frozen formula 1 and 2. He eats 3-4 goldfish a shot until his stomach is bursting.
Ill start feeding him better now that i have better info. Blame it on bad LFS info.
So what harm do goldfish do? Too much fat? Thanks
Chris

I found squid strips at a bait and tackle shop. Nice shedder strips in a big container (maybe a half pint) for $3. Screw the LFS prices, he loves it!
