Lion Possibly sick again

Alright people I just came home and my lion fish has lost a lot of color (V. Lion). I forgot to turn off the lights when I left so they have been on for about 12 hours. Its been 3 days since his last meal. Water checked out fine yesterday.

He is back to his origional color. He must just have been sleeping. I don't know. Anyone else ever heard of this happeneing?

alright he is back looking faded. Almost like he is just loosing his color. Does anyone know what's up?

Mine changes color all the time. He goes from a dark maroon to a pale white depending on mood. For example, when feeding he turns white but after he's done and settled on a rock he darkens again. So long as he is eating, I wouldn't worry.

Stormbind, I wouldn't be concerned with you rlion. My dwarf changes colors all the time and can and sometimes will go 3 or 4 days before he eates anything. My lion is red and white and really fades at certain times in the day. Lions need to eat about 3 times a week so as long as he is eating I wouldn't be concerned. If he stops eating altogether then try to soak his food in garlic and see if this will stimulate his appetite. My lion has become pretty picky here lately so I has been a task to get him to eat. although he did manage to have a $60 dinner as he ate 3 firefish within 5 days!!!! I would say he is pretty healthy uhh?
