I bought the seafood mix from walmart and stuck it in my blendor, it is now a brown lumpy paste. Is this what it should be like before I freeze it. I also added Garlic

how big is your tank? I wouldn't recommend mixing pufferfish together unless thats a huge tank and maroon clownfish are MEAN
as far as food goes I think the larger the variety the healthier your fish will be. Do you have a local wal-mart supercenter near you?
If so I go there when I run out of my frozen mix I make myself, I buy about a pound of their seafood mix that contains octopus legs, squid, crab, shrimp, oysters, scallops, etc. and I take this home, blend it up, add garlic juice (which you can also find at wal-mart) then I put it in zip lock bags and seal so the air is out and then I roll it flat with a rolling pin and freeze.
I love this stuff for like $5 you can get a ton of food that lasts for a long while. Also I feed Brine Shrimp with advanced formula and a special blend my LFS makes that contains cow heart (protein) seaweed, and garlic. I don't know what they put in this stuff other than those three ingredients but my fish go nuts and I have no objections, its great stuff!
I also started feeding a little bit of frozen krill every now and then and flake food.
My best advice would be to keep it varied and don't over feed, I feed every other day and its usually plenty, also be careful with mixing an eel and a pufferfish, I've read posts about bad run ins between the two species on here
good luck and I hope that helps you somewhat!
