Lionfish and Clownfish

Will a Lionfish about 3" eat a Clownfish about 1"? I know someone who had them both and some other fish in a 30 gallon tank and they where fine.

wellu could get away with that fish in that tank for now but make sure down the road, you get a bigger tank or sell the fish. my rule of thumb for a lionfish is that if it can fit in its mouth it will eat it, so the answer is he may not eat the clown now, but just wait, you may very well be clown-less

I had a blue damsel in with my juvi (I mean small) dwarf lion. I knew that at some point the damsel would be lunch but since the dwarf was small and the damsel was big (for a damsel) I thought I had some time. They lived together for about 5 weeks then one morning I woke up to find the lionfish in a tank to himself. Poof!! no more damsel. I don't know how he fit it into his mouth but he did.
