Those really arent the right foods to be feeding him but worry not, you already have the hard part of feeding a lion behind you and he is accepting prepared food. Go to your grocery store and pick up a bag of shrimp. Cut them into small enough pieces for your lion to eat and you are good to go and he will love you for it heheh. You can also do chunks of salt water fish and squid for variety but chopped shrimp is by far the easiest and most cost effective.

Okay with the shrimp? But how often and how much do you feed them we don't want to hurt him we want to make him happy! He's always accepted the food we give him, he acts like he hungary 24/7!

Lions do that, its in their nature to beg like puppy dogs. Just give him a piece or two. When his stomach bulges then he is done. Also remember to thaw out the shrimp first.

yikes....
first off the bottom picture is a beautiful P Volitans lions fish. often called volitans, lion, turkey fish, spotfinned and every other lessless name. Bottom line if fed correctly this fish will reach approx 12-15" in length (not counting the tail), it should reach its adult size in 1 to 1.5 yrs. A big fish, and it will eat anything that fits into its cavernous mouth. i.e., smaller fish and shrimp.
Harlequin gives you good feeding advice. As long as you stay away from Fw feeder fish and ensure the lions gets a good mix of Sw based seafoods, these fish do very well.
As for frequency of feeding; 2-3X week (except for young volitans-feed daily), I would feed til you see a slight buldge in their tummys, these fish will eat not stop if allowed.
by the way antennata lionfish have pectoral fin rays that are webs only 1/2 up. Also the pec fins have eyes spots on them

Just dont get a stonefish. If u get stung by one of those u will have a big problem- LOL yeah, big problem as in if you dont stick the affected part in boiling water or boiling tea within a minute or so of being zapped then you will only have about 15 minutes or so to live.
Provided the maroon clown is initially big enough to avoid being eaten I dont see any problems since your lion sounds full grown.

Sry my Bad. Took me a while to answer. I was talking about the first one that you identified as a Fuzzy . My bad i didnt see that u already staraightened it out.
