Lionfish in a reef

I love lions and i had two in my 55 fowlr but now im in college and cant have that big of a tank. i had a 7 gallon reef for 3 years now and i just built a 30 gallon with a 10 gallon sump/fuge. i was wondering if i could get a small volitan lion and keep him in my reef. i plan on hopefully having a true perc an angel fish and a butterfly fish. would the lion go after the other fish. the perc would have an anemone but i dont want him to live in fear of his life. and if the lion would leave them alone would i be able to have shrimp or would they get gobbled up? i know that the lions are generally not the most aggressive fish so i was hopping it might work. there is about 40 lbs of rock so the fish could have hiding places but there is plenty of swimming room in the tank for the lion. so i was just wondering if it would go after the other fish?

your asking about keeping a P volitans lionfish in a 30 gal tank. Did i read that right?

you do know that P volitan reach 15" in approx 1yr. So it will go from a cute little 4" to over a ft , it will also eat anything that can fit into its mouth as it grows. It should leave everything it cant eat alone
I hope your asking about some sort of dwarf lionfish

You cannot keep a small volitan in a 30 gallon. You will not be able to keep a butterfly in there either. You can have a clown and a dwarf angel. The rest will be rocks, coral and inverts.
