Lions can shed and many times will stop eating during the shed, shedding could mean stress, parasite, it can also be a sign of poor water or even poor health.
One thing I see is diet, lions should be fed a variety of foods soaked in vitamins (Selcon/Zoe), I feed Raw Shrimp, Crab, Mahi Mahi, Shark Steaks, Cray Fish, Ocean Perch, Squid, Octo, Smelt, Flounder, Red Snapper, Frozen Silversides, Frozen Sand Eels & Scallops.
At times when I feed raw shrimp, I inject the chunks with Cyclopeez & Vitamins for the extra nutrition, I also do this with young lions, sick lions or when a lion has stopped eating prepared foods and starts eating again.
They should be fed just enough to have a slight bulge in the stomach area, They can be spot fed 3 times per week or even every other day with a feeder stick.
A staple diet of just Krill & silversides may be the problem, it is best said in the lion info sheet by Frank Marini:
"In regards to the issue of starvation, the lionfish just stops feeding, and over a few weeks period cannot be enticed to eat by either live or prepared foods. Starvation is usually a result of long-term improper diet caused by the exclusive feeding of one type of food (freeze-dried krill is generally the most common cause because it's widely available and convenient). This diet can potentially cause a blockage of the gastrointestinal tract, or result in a nutritional deficiency, or result in the formation of a goiter."

Another problem could be lockjaw, I have a black volitan that has been through this a few times but it always seems to realign the jaw within a few days. This happens if I feed a chunk that is to large. Look at the jaw very close, see it it is stuck open at all or does not line up.
IMO - You are looking at Diet or Lockjaw, Diet seems to occur right around this time (one year). Your lion is in trouble, it has been a long time since the last feeding, this lion needs food, I would try mollies or guppies at this point, you do not want this lion starving to the point of no return. If at all possible move you lion into quarantine and try the live foods, make sure it is not stress.
