You can get mysis from your LFS, these are frozen shrimp but small for the wrasse. Some of the frozen shrimps do have preservatives, some don't, I look for the ones that don't but at times I feed the ones that do.....lol
I am happy this lion is eating again, keep variety going.

Good Job! I am happy to hear this lion eating, I have been out of town but did read the update on your lion. Try changing to ghost shrimp to see if you get the same response, if it goes after the ghost shrimp try frozen..... Good Luck!

Again, thanks for your help. I have to say he is being a spoiled rotten fish, but for now he can get away with being spoiled. I have to hold the guppy and krill (added just today) in front of him with my tongs, wiggling the krill for him to eat. There is a good fish store in downtown Atlanta, with a really good variety of food. We plan to make trip there this week-end and I will take the list of food you gave above. Would it be better to slowly add/try different foods? I am scared to go overboard with feeding since it has been so long for him not eating.

I would try raw shrimp and raw squid from your Local grocery store, see if it will eat that. From your LFS try Frozen sand eels or frozen silversides, maybe try a small chunk daily of the different foods, in a week or two start feeding every other day, feed until there is a slight bulge in the stomach area.
Soak all of your foods in vitamins which you can pick up at your LFS.

I've been looking for a local place to buy supplies in Atlanta area. I'm in Macon area. What's the name of this store and address please.Also I had a problem with my son over feeding my Lion.

the store's web site is thefishstore.com it will give address, store hours, they have a real good selection of frozen foods, and i have bought some corals.
but for most of my supplies, corals, & fish, i shop at this web site or ***********.com.
