Lionfish Probs

I have a Violitan and a Dwarf lion that are small.They are in a 75 gal tank by themselves.I had them for about 2 weeks now and I havent seen them eat yet.I have been feeding them chopped squid,krill,and plankton.I do what I read on here about not feeding them for 3 or 4 days.Well,the dwarf was a rose color and now it is a peachie pink.What do I do.

As I understand it, all lion fish need to see movement to trigger their feeding instinct. I just bought one yesterday, and he watches the mysis shrimp, and seems excited until they hit the bottom and stop. I think you need to keep the food moving.

try taking fish and moving them around w/ tongs .

Well they te finally.I was stung pretty bad.It didnt hurt much but it left 3 puss pockets on my arm.It looks like the white part of a pimple,about the size of a dime.I popped it and it smelled like tuna.It wasnt painful.It was exactly like a cramp.
