my two dwarf lions are coming tomarrow and the antisipation level is growing by the minute. i hope all goes well:joy:

the thing is that it takes a lot of effort to get them to accept non-live food...but once you overcome this problem...they're hardy and long-lived.

:happyfish Totally agree with pufferman about all lions, not just zebras. I had a lot of hard luck with getting my volitan lion to eat, and that is more hardy supposedly than a zebra or dwarf zebra. It took me a week of trying to finally get him to eat something. And believe me I tried every trick in the book. Just let us know if you need help getting either lion to eat. Luckily most of us have had trouble, so we can help with some off the wall tricks. Luckily lions can go without food for up to a week or more, so you will have time, if either lion doesn't eat. Again, sorry about your previous lions, their fault, not yours. Good luck with the new batch.
