your trigger might eat smaller fish and at its adult size will be too large for a 55g tank
never heard of a green chromis...do you mean 2 blue and 2 blue green reef chromis?
IMO I would get an odd number of whichever you choose or get 2 of one species and 3 of the other if they all school together to make an odd number.

thanks for your replys. first off, yes it is the blue green chromis that i am interested in and i will get an odd number because they are a schooling fish. second, i have asked 2 of my lfs about triggers and both of them feel and say that the blue jaw trigger for the most part is a very tame trigger and is peaceful twords its tankmates.

True, I have also read that the blue jaw trigger is the least aggressive of the triggers but unless you are planning to upgrade to a larger tank I would advise against it. I believe the trigger will outgrow your 55g. Just my .02, good luck.

it depends on where you get the tank if you buy it brand new with all the equipment it could cost a lot. check your local paper and you will probably find a really good deal.

125gal. at the least. They'll max at around 10" and need ALOT of swimming room. I wouldnt even put a juvenile in a 55gal. Leave the Trigger out of your list and you'll be fine.

The Flame Angel would work out alright, but you'd be in the same boat with the Yellow Tang (gets too big, needs a large tank, etc.)
