Ok there is this type of sea anemone at my LFS that only cost $8!!!!!!! Its white with a pink tip.Why is this anemone so cheap.
They have about 7 of these anemones.Iam going back to the pet store to see what type it is and why its so cheap.

sounds like a condy... clowns wont host em, or i should say very rarley, however they are extremly hardy and cheap

it wont harm anything in yyour tank ecept a coral if it decides to roam

well i would watch it if you have pretty stupid fish...but other than that no

i think the condy's eat fish...never had one...could be wrong

the only way it will eat it is if it falls asleap in it or unless it is dead and falls into it... they are not killers

yup thats it! a condy.But wheres what iam worried about my eel will smell food and he will turn into the HULK!And he will zoom al over the aquarium!Will he be smart enough to not go into the anemone

i always wondered what happened to him (how he got caught)

my condy has eaten 3 of my green chromis....maybe they are just retarded fish :notsure:

my gold striped maroons hosted a condy i had and fed it very well. the female successfully fed it a bi-color pseudochromis and a firefish goby. she also unsuccessfully tried to feed it a juvy hippo tang and a six-line wrasse. and yes condys roam, that's why i got rid of mine. they are hearty and the more they are fed the less dependant on strong lighting they are.
