there are two things that i have been seeing in my tank. any info on these two things would help. thanks!
1) i have little circular ... things on the side of my tank on the glass. they look like white curly-q's or white curls.
2) also, i have TONS of tiny, almost .5 cm sized starfish in my tank, some of them with 8 legs some with 7 some with 9 and none of the legs are the same length (put simply, theyre abnormal). Theyre white and move pretty slowly.

The little white spirals are spirorbid worms. Just do a search on these boards for that term and you'll see several threads with photos that you can match to yours. They are supposed to be a sign of a healthy tank because they are small filter-feeder worms. I've read that this means you have nutrients in the tank, good flow, and good water quality. I have these also in my tank.
Sorry, can't help you on the starfish.

I'm not an expert. But I'll give it one shot...
1.) Little round things sound like Spirorbid Worms
Filter feeders..no problem in the Aquarium.
2.) Little guys with legs? Could they possibly be a lot of Hydroid Jellyfish? Don't know much about them, They look like super miniature starfish, and attach themselves to the glass,..white in color..
I'm sure if you google them, you can find some reading on them..

we have a lot of the spionids in our 90 gallon tank with the white tubes growing. do we just leave the tubes, pull some out - they are getting to be everywhere you look .
Is it ever too many tubes? or do you just let them keep growing?
thanks for your help.
