Hi everyone, great board. I'm curious about a mild infestation I have of little white bugs in my tank.
They are about the size of a needle head and can be found all over the glass in my tank which can only be seen if you were to look closely.
My set up has been running for a month now and hasbegun to sprout green and a pinkish red algae, which I beleive is quite normal. Amonia is at 0 and so are my trites..
Does anyone know what I could do to get rid of these bugs they are starting to bug me?
thanks

since there are no predetors in the tank their population will contiue to grow as you introduce fish and after the cycle ther population will decrease to a number that will be not be seen all that much. but they are good to have in the tank .

On average I wonder how many months it would take for their numbers to deminish? you see my wife thinks there disgusting, and looking at how many there are in my sea I kind of agree .thanks

mine took about a month or so after adding fish to the tank, alot of them become free food for the fish. but really they are a sign that the tank is getting a healthy start.
