well amongts the exitment/dread of aquiring my new seahorse a day early and all the flurry of activity it spawned I almost forgot to pay tribute to the newest addition to my 75g reef. George (he came with the name). this little guy has to brave it in my 75G he is barely 3/4 inch long. I may have to put him in my sump untill he gains enough size to not go down the overflow. he is a fish i have been wanting a long time a baby goldstriped marroon. his colors are great he is just starting to show hints of gold in his banding he is the only survivor from a mated pairs first clutch at a local aquaculture program. so i count myself pretty fortunate to get him. he is a survivor. here is to a long and healthy life for george.

I love the dark colors near the base of the fins! Gold stripes are so beautiful. It won't be long before it's a she so you might have to call her georgie!

well mini george there went for a hell ride down the overflow and into the sump last night... poor little guy. I was afraid that might happen. he is now happily playing in the flow of my powerhead and return line from the skimmer.
so he is destined to live in my sump untill he gets big enough to manaage in the big blue (well the dt anyways)
