Anyone have any Little Giant Pumps. I am wondering if they are quiet and good to use for my sump? Suggestions Please

i use a liitle giant 3 for my return its pretty quiet but it makes a little vibration still even after i put a computer mouse pad underneath it it quiet it down the only thing that i dont like is how hot it gets so i put a small fan blowing on it but if you want a really quiet pump go with a velocity those things are whisper quiet

I have and use 2 Little Giants..one is a series 4, and the other the 5..the 5 has a slight noise...but the 4 is near perfectly quiet...
I am extremely happy with the both of them.

Blue Line makes a great, quiet pump. You don't have to oil them either. Good pricing too.

SAE 20 or some like Magnum pump oil. There should be a little hole for adding oil to them.
I'll stick with my Velocity pumps thank you.

we have a Little Giant 4MDQX-SC coming from our sump to the 100gal display tank, running our 4' DIY protein skimmer and running through a 60 refugium. It completely swamped the two 1" drains in the display tank forcing us to add an axchange box with with 2 1" u-tubes to equalize the waterflow. A little noisy, low hum, but the most awesome pump we've had yet... p.s these pumps are air cooled and do not transfer any heat to the water and run only slightly warm to touch.
Yesterday, we purchased our 2nd one of these Little Giants to supplement circulation via a closed loop on our new (used DIY) tank, pictured below, which we hope to put on line by the first or second month of the new year.

The best part of the Little Giant is the price, more bang for your buck, I bought a 4MDQX-SC for $138.00 + S&H
