WOW! thats a lot of aptasia anemones.
there not good if u have coral. they sting coral. but for a fish only tank its ok. peppermint shrimp eat them. but you need a lot for 64. like WOW

Noobie question here:
How would someone clear an infestation of these with no ill effects to other living things in the aquarium??

My tank is infested. I've tried Aptasia Away with little to no effect. Local saltwater shop said Aptasia Away is nothing more than hydrogen peroxide. Checked out Joe's Juice and Kalkwasser but I do not want to mess with the water quality. My tank is otherwise healthy. The fish thrive as do the feather dusters, mushrooms and haddoni. But the aptasia have to go.
I am reading and learning more and more about Berghia. The first I heard of it was this past weekend while in Baltimore. I am ordering some tomorrow. With the amount of pests in my tank it will take them quite a while to erradicate them. Expensive, yes, but so has been this whole saltwater endeavor. I've got a lot invested so what is a little more expense.
Peppermint shrimps aren't a consideration as the last ones were eaten in the first few minutes by my adult engineer gobies. Caviar.
Any other comments, I'd welcome them.
