Yep looks like botryocladia.
If it is I would not call it a good thing, your choices are manual removal, finding a critter/fish to eat it like foxface, or cut the nutrients that it is feeding off of and or the lighting.
Some varieties can grow very, very fast and can become a nightmare.

ok whats so bad about it it dosent seem to be doing anything but sit there. just wondring whats so bad about them???

The problem is that once these things get going and gain momentum then can choke out all life on a rock by packing in so tight and covering everything. They are much worse than their green cousins.
I know Sammy had a real bad bout with them at one time that I believe was sucessfully combated with a foxface.

humm i guess i will pull them out they dont seem to be growing but if they will take out all the life on that rock can i just pull it off the rock or do i have to like slice it off????

Yes get it now, I left some in my tank and now it is everywhere, argggggg. I am trying to find someone to eat it. I think my emeralds eat it but it spreads so fast they can not keep up. I am going to get a bunch more soon and maybe try a fox face.:confused:

humm sorry i didnt get to post t would not let me at home but anyway i pulled it off to find teo smaller ones onder it yall where right humm i guess i will wate a bit and let them grow and then pull them so i dont have to rip in to my buttens.
