Yes, and I have also seen people buy used setups, the copper can be in the seams, where the tank is calked. I know of at least one person who this happened to.

always have another heater to make sure ur top off and change water is the same temp as ur display tank. And to prevent turning into an algae harvester change ur pc or vho bulbs every 6 months and keep tabs on ur Phosphate levels. Dont get a mandrin unless you have a huge well established reef tank

some additives can make a skimmer superfoam like crazy and just unplug it til the additive runs its course

ho ho ho and coraline will spread faster if you scrape some off an existing rock and get the seed into the water

just a little bit. i did about a 1cmx1cm patch (small specs) daily for awhile. Now i have so much everywhere i'm willing to sell it!!!!

few weeks. Notice the growth will start on ur substrate. Your clean up crew will stir that and it will spread even more!!!
