little white balls

I was looking at my filter and i saw two little white balls at the bottom of my wet/dry filter anyone no what this is is it some kind of egg????

It happens, they are most likely small sponges, they are harmless and even help filter the water, are they shaped like tiny little pineapples? I forget the name.
Quite often the will grow in the overflows, sumps, skimmers..etc..

look like these? Leucilla sponges If they bother you you can get rid of them, if not still harmless and helps with filtration.

I have hundreds of them in my sump. As Thomas said, harmless.
