Well perhaps he was wrong in how he approached it but hes 100% right. It is her fault for being misinfromed. The information is plentiful and she chose not to look for it. All the questions she is asking are the ones she should have asked before she bought any fish. These are living breathing creatures and the proper steps should be taken before buying them. Six months is nothing you are a newbie. The fact you dont know what ich is proves this. The first step is taking responsibility for your mistakes. Any tang in a 55 is going to have problems. The general rule is if something dies dont just replace it, find out why it died. Im guessing you dont go into a lfs and pick out sick looking fish. Therefore, in most cases, the fish was healthy before being placed in your tank. My suggestion is, read. look through the boards and find out what is wrong with your tank. Do the actual research required for these fish and then if you finally think you can handle it, go for it. I know im wasting my time because you are going to do what you want anyway. In fact, im sure that because im saying you arent ready you are going to try to prove everyone wrong by buying yet another doomed fish. If you cant keep clownfish alive, dont buy tangs. Babysteps. Buy some testkits.
