little white star

found a little white star fish in my tank. I think I remember a post saying these eat corals and to get it out. its about a half inch ,white on the bottom and brownish on top, three bigger legs and three smaller legs,and hard . right now its in sump. should I take it out or leave it in.

Take it out. Do a search for "Predatory Starfish" on <a href="http://www.garf.org" target="_blank">www.garf.org</a> .If this is what you have, get rid of it and be on the lookout for more.
