little white things on glass

my tank just finished cycling and there are these little white things on the glass. they almost look like little bugs but they are so small i can't really tell. anybody know what these are?

The technical name is either copopods, amphipods,they are tiny crustations. it is a great thing. It shows that your water is healthy and the system has stabled out.! Congrads. There are some types of fish that eat these on a regular basis (hawkfish or mandarins) but it usually takes a large amount of these creatures or the fish with slowly starve to death. Usually these crustations come off of your live rock or sand. Hey good job!:jumping:

Hey bigarn do you remember the little white things I had on my glass? They were curly and you called them a filter feeder they dont move but there white. They may be thoughs also just cant remember the name.

no they are not those spir. worms. I really cannot tell what they look like as they are so small. They just look like little white dots. It does look like they are crawling around on the glass- would this match the description of pods?

Maybe, they could be pods, another thought is possibly pyrimidal snails they are very tiny and pointy, sometimes found on larger snails around the base of the shell near the foot of the snail.
