Little White things???

Ok I was cleaning the LS in the tank today to get the green Alg. out Now after an hour or so I went back to the tank and now on my glass I see these small Little white things on my glass They look like Little white dots on the glass that move. They seem to be firm and hard to remove from the glass but I can remove them. The best that I can describe them is "it looks like Lice" or movable Dandruff. Any Ideas on what this could be. the tank is a 55 gal. I have a 30-60 gal Cleaner crew in there that I bought from this site and Chocolet chip starfish and a Blue Damsel None seem to be affected by these things.

hmm i have similar things on my glass. they are transparent little glob like things with one protrusion that resembles snail eye stalks. they are about the size of ball-bearings. are these pods of some sort as well?

i did actually just look at that thread, and it is very informative, but nothing there resembles what i am talking about. imagine somebody put a drop of crazy glue on the inside of the glass. just a transparent little glob, with a single appendage. and some organs inside. they move around from day to day, but to slow to see them really move.

I was told they came from the live sand or rocks, I was told sand snails don't remember the name she called them

so you guys think they are a type of snail? that would have been my best guess, but they lack a hard shell, if any at all. i was about to post that last night i saw a bunch of my nAS. snails on the glass right near these guys so maybe they were spawning? or eating em ?

No saltnoob. What the other people are saying is that those are the type of snales that will eat the Coepods that are in the Tank. Im not tring to be rude here so dont get me wrong sry if it sound like I am comming off like that.

Did you take those yourself? Whats the magnification? Were you using some type of reverse dark phase apparatus on the scope?

Sorry to say those were just net shots, not my work.
