Is it ok to feed saltwater fish, freshwater feeder fish?

Just to back up what jwtrojan said, I feed my grouper krill. He loves it. The krill will float for a while and then sink. As it does, he "hunts" it and eats it. I've fed him guppies once, thinking it would be a treat for him, and he seemed very sluggish for two days after that.

if you are feeding goldfish, you should know that they are the equivalent to a big mac with cheese and fries, compared to more natural food listed above which would be like a salad and some fruit. goldfish will really mess up your system too. they cause a lot of waste from what they are fed to and this will send brown algae into a riot. i dont recomend it...
