Live Rock Arrangement Question?

Ok so I've got about 25 pounds in my 30 gallon. Just wondering if there is a best way of doing it?
Right now I have them in the middle in arcs ,but I've seen that some tanks have it against the wall.
Thanks ahead of time for any advice. I'll try to get some pics up of my tank later.

This is one of those things that can drive a person mad.
Aquascaping and how you want it to look.
Beyond the basics of the tanks water flow being even, there ARE some things to consider.
You have any larger fish that like open swimming room?
Light sensitive corals that may need a place to shade themselves?
Community tanks with smaller fish, and more of them often benefit from more hiding spots such as piles rather than landscapes.
Putting anything against a wall can have a severe impact on water movement in the tank, low flow or "dead spots" can be problematic for collecting "shtuff". Having rock against the glass also presents the problem of-keeping the glass clean becomes impossible.

Well put. I would just like to add to something already said. MAKE SURE your rock is not up against the glass, it makes it impossible to clean the glass. Also make sure you have enough room to fit your hand anywhere near the glass.
Otherwise just make sure you like the looks of it when you are done.

i've had my rock against the back for almost a year now, I also have a power head back there that blows everything out from there, as far as cleaning back there since i solved my algae problem there has been no need to clean back there glass is as clean back there as it is everywhere else

Thanks for the advice. I'm liking the way the rocks look and there is plenty of space between everything.
one more question.....
right now i have a maxi jet 600 on top corner of tank should i add another powerhead or a koralia on the opposite side for more circulation? BTW it's a 30 gallon tank
thanks again
