Live rock changed color overnight??

Help please!!...I took out all the rock in my aquarium in order to be able to catch and rid myself of damsels. The rock was out of the tank for only 10-15 minutes and when I came home from work today my live (purple) rock had turned to a bright red and pink color...what is going on.

I'd start shaving some correline off some rock you didn't take out of the tank to re-seed the rock, or get some rubble rock with correline from your LFS and shave that close to a powerhead so it distributes the correline throughout the tank.
You should NEVER take rock out of the tank and just let it sit. You should have it in saltwater at all times.
