o.k. I was looking for a reef ready tank in Illinois. I found a used one and it is up and running. It is a 100 gal tank. I have about 60 pounds of live rock. I read and was told that I need about one pound per gal. So if anyone out there in illinois is selling some live rock. I need some
thanks

Have you ever been to Scott's pet shop? It's located on 31st and wolf rd. I think that's in westchester. The easiest way to get there is to take Mannheim Rd south to 31st and go right, you'll see a big shopping center and Scott's is in the corner. It's a big store, gotta be atleast 1500sq ft.

A Splash of Life in Elburn usually has good rock available and a new shop called Reef Plus in North Aurora has some really nice, pourous Pacific rock for a good price.

Thanks Rob I got most of my live rock from a splash of life. There moving to Wasco soon. It is really nice, lots of color. It is
also 6 ro 7 dollars per pound. I hope thats the going rate. I need about 40 more pounds or so.... I thought I could pick some up less exspensive. I found that lots of second hand aquarium stuff works just as well and less expensive.....
