Live Rock issue

how many people out there consider their live rocks as pets...just curious, because it is live

I wouldn't really consider my rock to be a pet because while it is called "live rock" the rock itself isn't live. The name live rock is just referring to all the live stuff on it and inside the rock.

Don't consider it a pet. Like you don't consider corals your pets. Just a living organizism living in your aquarium, i think what classifies something as a pet is something that has personality.

my fish are pets...if i had corals they would be my pet too....but not a rock.

I bet you would make alot of money selling "Pet Live Rocks". Seems lots in the hobby will buy just about anything once to try it out
