Live Rock Lighting Question

Here's my first question. I bought some live rock, established for 2 years. It was in a lidded trash can with heater and circulation for a couple months. I have it in my tank. Is there a break in period for lighting or just start blasting it with light? I have a 30 X-Tall tank. 24x12x24. All I have is 4 foot fixtures, so it's half on the tank! I'll need to figure something out on that as well.....

I unplugged the right side for now, but it's a pc with a 65w 10k/460 bulb

It's no so much the live rock, it's the coraline I want to grow.

From my experience coraline algae likes the power compacts. If you seed the tank with a piece of LR with coraline on it you'll have it growing everywhere with those lights in 3 months. Make sure to keep the rock you purchase with coraline submerged at all times!
