If it were me I would be contacting whoever you bought it from and find out what they are going to do about it. Odds are you will have some things survive but the die off is going to be much greater. Someone, possibly UPS, needs to make this right for you. IMO

 this happened to me - the tracking page said "delay beyond our control" i was so upset and the rock SMELLED when i got it - must have been a lot of die-off - however after curing it for 2 weeks and numerous scrubbing sessions and water changes all was well - those littl ebuggers in that rock can handle alot... but im sure i'd have had alot more.

rubbermaid with a heater and a powerhead - 90% water change every other day / scrubbed rock whenever i did water change - i bought this stuff at the LFS called 'rockprep' (i dont know how others feel about this stuff) it comes with a brush cap that you can squeeze the bottle and the liquid cleaner inside secretes into the brush - what i did was before water change i scrubbed the rock and cleansed it in the old water then put rock in a dry bucked while i did waterchange... the smell was gone by the end of the first week but i gave it another week just incase - i have cured live rock without this 'rockprep' bottle but i feel this actually does help.. it was like 8 bucks. - thats just the way i did it - prob. not the best way but who knows.

Had the same thing happen to me it shipped on tuesday arrived to me on monday due to delays.I did have some die off but not to bad I scrubbed it in saltwater with a toothbrush.I cured it in a tupperware container for a week doing water changes everyday. When I did add it to my tank I added Amquel to help with the amonia incase of a spike. So far everything is O.K but I'm watching my water carefully.

Do You Think I Can Put It Straight In My Tank Its A New Tank About To Start The Cycle??? Can I Scrub The Die Off Then Put It Into The Tank?? Thanks For The Help..

If you have no livestock in the tank, I'd just put it in the tank after doing a scrub in saltwater. The die off will cause an ammonia spike and get your cycle going. If there is livestock in the tank, I'd cure it in a tub with a heater and powerhead.
