live rock question

I hope this is the place to post this if not i do appologize in advance.
I recently bought some live rock(16lbs) off a dealer on e-bay. They said it is fully cured but i am soaking it in a 5 gallon pucket filled with heated salt water. My question is that the live rock has small holes all over the rock and there are what seems to be like worms in it and they start to come out and i belive that i need to get them all out but i am unsure. So do i get the to come out and pull them out or leave them. also if i need them to be out what is the best way to get them out of the rock.

The worms are what makes the rock live. Are they bristleworms? Most worms in live rock are just scavengers so they are a good thing IMO Carrie

If you can get them out Id do it there liable to cause problems later. Try snagging them with tweezers.
